Leadership Etiquette: The Foundations of Covenant-Based Strategic Leadership—This graduate-level course examines the intersection of covenant-based leadership wisdom and contemporary strategic leadership practices through the lens of Dr David Oyedepo's leadership ideology. Students will explore foundational leadership principles that address not merely what leaders do, but how leaders think—the mental frameworks, paradigms, and thought patterns that distinguish transformational leaders from transactional managers.
The course systematically explores nine dimensions of leadership etiquette: attainment-based authority, value creation through contribution, self-management foundations, progressive thinking, solution orientation, possibility consciousness, equality of potentials, service orientation, generational perspective, and integrated practice. Through rigorous academic study combined with practical application, students will develop the cognitive foundations necessary for sustained leadership excellence across diverse contexts.
The course culminates in examining how these principles created world-class institutions, including Living Faith Church Worldwide, Covenant University, and Landmark University.
This course is designed for current and aspiring leaders in business, education, ministry, government, non-profit, and entrepreneurial contexts who seek to ground their leadership practice in enduring principles while engaging effectively with contemporary organisational realities. It prepares leaders who transform not just organisations but communities, nations, and generations.
